Your surroundings MATTER. Everything in your environment impacts your life such as where you live, what books you read, what kind of things you watch, what podcasts you listen to, what your workplace looks (and feels!!) like, etc. Consider every ingredient in your environment that makes up your life into what it is today.
As it not only tells you something about your today but it’s shaping your future too. Who you are with can elevate you as much as it can bring you down. This is how powerful it is, who you spend the most time with influences the person you eventually become. So what kind of person do you aspire to BE? Take back your power and choose.
Everything is energy
Everything is energy and so are you, so what kind of ENERGIES do you surround yourself with on a regular basis? Let’s narrow everything down to one of the most important things in your environment for your growth, expansion, and overall success in life: What kind of people and friends you surround yourself with.
Do they support your growth, your BIG vision, and the most authentic expression of you? Do you feel that you can share EVERYTHING that’s going on within you without being judged, criticized, or having your energy drop? And what about your closest friends, what kind of vibration and energy are they sharing with you?
Know who’s got your back
You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with, powerful words said by legend Jim Rohn. If you haven’t already, give this expression some serious thinking. Do these people’s qualities match who you want to become? Do they help support you or detract you from your vision for yourself? Do they elevate you or bring you down?
If you’re honest, you know who always makes you feel disempowered. And you know who inspires you, who sees and celebrates your light, and who lift you up no matter what. The people who you feel you can trust, those who LOVE you for who you truly and authentically are. The ones who “get you” and want you to succeed just as much as you do.
Choose your people wisely
Now, this doesn’t mean that you should avoid all people and be afraid of lower energy. You hold the power, this means that you get to choose where YOU spend most of your time and with whom. Friends, family, and community are important – they give you a feeling of belonging, bring fun and laughter, offer emotional support, and give you guidance.
Whether you realize it or not, the influence of your surroundings goes far beyond today and the moment. Your friendships impact you and shape the course of your life – examine if you like the course and directions you’re currently on. Dare to ask yourself if you’re actually longing for a space to BE with like-minded who are on a similar path to you.
Empowerment through unity
I know for a FACT that I would not have been where I’m at without the loving, nourishing, and neverending support from mentors, coaches, friends, and my soul tribe who showed belief in me (and my big dreams) even when I’ve been “standing on zero” failing forward. We all NEED community as we all want to feel we belong to fully thrive in life.
Empowerment grows through unity – I consider community and togetherness to be one of the biggest blessings and gifts you can give yourself. Not only as a pure joy but as a powerful tool and strategy to carve your own unique path and to be able to grow success holistically – your way. You’re not supposed to figure it out all completely by yourself.
We grow through each other
There have sure been times in my life when I’ve felt (very) lonely on the path that I’ve chosen. Being an entrepreneur, a visionary, a changemaker, a creator and a fierce woman of any kind requires you to be brave. It’s easier, empowering, and a way more joyful experience when we get to share our journeys, lessons, and growth together.
I’m now in the process of creating this space for you, and for all of us to come together as I know by experience that MAGIC happens when strong women share space.
